Capella’s online IT and computer science programs are designed with industry trends in mind, including the impact of generative AI, and are structured to give you the flexibility to earn your degree on your schedule.
$15,000 bachelor’s scholarship: Apply for a $15K Capella Progress Reward for the BS in Information Technology and BS in Computer Science programs.**
$2,500 master’s scholarship: Apply for a $2.5K Capella Progress Reward for the MS in Information Technology, MS in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, and MS in Analytics programs.**
DIT: With Capella Tuition Cap, you won’t pay more than $45,000 in tuition costs for your Doctor of Information Technology degree.**

Throughout your bachelor’s program, you will have the option to earn the Google IT Support professional certificate as well as others. The cost of these certificates is included in your tuition,* and you can showcase completion on your resume to demonstrate industry readiness.

In the BS in Computer Science program, you’ll learn to design and create new technology, giving you a deep understanding of computing theories and development.
In the BS in Information Technology program, you’ll learn how to use and manage existing technology to help organizations run more smoothly.
If you’re interested in building new technology, computer science may be the way to go. If you prefer working with current systems to solve practical problems, information technology might be a better fit.
While both programs support the use of generative AI, they each offer unique approaches to how it can be applied in solving real-world challenges.
