Meet nursing leadership

Lisa Kreeger, PHD, RN

Executive Dean, School of Nursing and Health Sciences

Dr. Kreeger brings a unique combination of academic and healthcare industry experience building from her roots as a clinical nurse. Her career includes faculty and academic leadership positions and experiences in the U.S. and internationally as a consultant focusing on change, strategy, innovation and leadership excellence. Dr. Kreeger’s primary research interests are to contribute to the understanding of how teams lead change and how asynchronous technology and augmented intelligence promote competency-based education and enhance learning.

Constance Hall, EdD-CI, MSN, BA, RN

Associate Dean, School of Nursing and Health Sciences

Dr. Hall brings three decades of nursing expertise to education, spanning clinical practice, leadership roles and faculty positions. Her proficiency in nursing education, curriculum development and research on nursing students’ perceptions of stress-producing situations showcases a commitment to excellence. Dr. Hall advocates for public health, contributing to initiatives that prevent HIV, teen pregnancy and domestic violence, while championing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). A trailblazer, she pioneered a DEI assessment tool, earning the first Star of Excellence Award for DEI at Capella University. Dr. Hall is a founding member of the Capella University Nursing Honor Society, Omega Gamma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Inc., and holds the position of president emerita, solidifying her as an inspirational figure in academia and healthcare.

Buddy Wiltcher, EdD, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Assistant Dean, School of Nursing and Health Sciences

Dr. Wiltcher has over 30 years of combined education and nursing experience. His career includes teaching clinical nurse educators at the college level while serving as the department chair and interim director. For the last six years, Dr. Wiltcher served as senior manager for graduate and undergraduate nursing programs and instruction faculty. At Capella, Dr. Wiltcher has contributed to several prior roles including as the program director of the MSN – Nurse Practitioner program and of the RN-to-BSN program.
